Since 1997, the lab has been performing high quality tests according to international standards. Bearing in mind the constant necessity of progress, increase of competitiveness and quality, we have implemented Laboratory Management System in consistency with ISO/IEC 17025:2005. We have been granted Accreditation Certificate of Testing Laboratory no AB962 by Polish Centre for Accreditation.
The geotechnical laboratory of GEOTEKO utilizes modern testing equipment e.g. advanced triaxial apparatuses with „back pressure” saturation option.
On the basis of triaxial tests’ results, strength and strain soil parameters are evaluated. We are also able to determine initial soil stiffness (Gmax) to be used for settlement calculations using elasto-plastic soil model.
